What are cultured diamonds?
Cultured diamonds are genuine diamonds which are grown in a laboratory by reproducing the same conditions that occur under the earth's crust. Cultured diamonds possess the same chemical and optical characteristics as geologically grown diamonds. As with the unique conditions of geological diamond growth, the quality of a finished lab diamond depends on the details of the manufacturing processes. Cultured diamonds are offered in a wide array of cuts, sizes and colors including: colorless (white), yellow, orange, cognac, blue, green, pink and red.

Is the color permanent?

How can I be sure that I buy a real lab-grown diamond?

What colors are available?
Created-Diamonds.com offers the following colors: yellow, orange, cognac, green, blue, pink, red and white.

What sizes are available?
The available weight range for loose diamonds depends on the color and cut of the diamond. For example, for yellow, orange, cognac, red and green the maximum weight is about 2 carats in Princess, Radiant or Asscher cuts and up-to 1.25 carats in Brilliant cuts. For white, blue and pink, the weight ranges are up-to 1.25 carats in Princess and up to 0.75 in Brilliant.

What if I cannot find a diamond that I want?
If you do not find the cut or color of diamond that you envisioned, please fill out our Special Order form and we will respond to you about our availability. As soon as you inquire about the diamond, you are automatically put onto a waiting list and will be contacted as soon as the diamond becomes available.

Why white lab-grown diamonds are so rare?
Though they are the most common in nature, white diamonds are the most difficult to produce in laboratories. In order to achieve optimal color and brilliance, the diamond must be grown with as little nitrogen present as possible. By limiting the amount of nitrogen, the carbon crystal growth slows dramatically resulting in a higher chance of failure to produce a finished diamond.

Do you offer Created-Diamonds.com brand jewelry?
